Mississauga – Peel Regional Police and Toronto Police Service would like to remind the business premises located at 1635, 1645, 1655 Sismet Road in Mississauga will continue to be closed due to safety concerns.
On Tuesday, April 29, 2008, the Toronto Police Service, assisted by the Peel Regional Police Service, executed a drug-related search warrant at an industrial unit at 1645 Sismet Road in Mississauga.
The efforts in dismantling this Methamphetamine lab are still ongoing. At this time, the chemicals which are still present within the building still pose a significant danger.
As a result, the Peel Regional Police will continue to be denying access to the affected buildings as the safety of the citizens in and around cannot be assured.
We continue to appreciate the cooperation provided by the affected citizens. Investigators hope to have the scene secured and safe by Monday, May 5th, 2008 at 8:00 a.m.
