BRAMPTON - Registration for the Brampton Minor Lacrosse Association (BMLA) fall field league for boys and girls will take place this evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the OPP Grounds, Building D.The fall season will run from September 7 through to November 2 at the Creditview/Sandalwood Fields.For those new to fall field lacrosse, this is a modified version played with a seven vs seven format and little or no hitting. Full equipment is mandatory and no experience is needed.The BMLA will have three divisions this year: Junior- birth year 1999 to 2002, Intermediates- birth year 1996 to 1998, and Senior- birth year 1993 to 1995.Cost is $100 for the season.In addition, the BMLA will be entering two teams in the under-19 fall field lacrosse league and will hold tryouts for players born between 1989 and 1993.Final tryouts will take place August 30 and 31 along with September 2 and 4 and the Creditview/Sandalwood Fields. All tryouts will commence at 6:30 p.m.League play begins September 6 and runs for six weeks.For more information, visit www.bramptonlacrosse.ca
